    Government, Constitution

I was hoping you could let me know which study guide(s) and grade(s) that the structure of the government, bill of rights and constitution are studied closely? We have been going through the American History set for 3rd and I have the ones for 4th.
    Thanks,
    Lindsay

Those topics are covered lightly in 7th grade American History. MP doesn’t have guides for a full high school level government class, but Memoria Academy does have two online government classes- one on US Government and one on Political Philosophy.

There are also a few read-aloud books scheduled in the younger grades that introduce these concepts. One such book is D for Democracy. I have A is for America, but I don't remember where or if it's scheduled officially. I also see A More Perfect Union on MP's website (which was recommended by Hillsdale). It's great and lays a nice foundations for everything. None of these are close studies, but they help with exposure to the branches of government before Story of the 13 Colonies explains the history of how our government was formed in 6th/7th.
