    Parents' Night In

    Hi everyone! You are welcome to join us for our monthly Parents' Night In on March 29 at 8:00 PM ET. This Zoom session is meant to connect us socially as we encourage each other and share experiences. This has previously only gone out on our Facebook pages hosted by wonderful MP parents. But, I'll make sure to post it in the Forum from now on.

      Oh my gosh! Where have you been all this time?! I just registered. I'm so excited! Since I am not a facebook user, I seem to miss quite a bit.
      The Older Boys:
      J- 6/96: (CAPD/mild ASD) working/living on his own
      S- 11/98: Jan. 2022- BYU-I accounting major

      The Middle Boys:
      G- 4/04 (mild ASD/mild intellectual delay)
      D- 5/05 (mild processing issues)

      The Princess:
      F- 7/08

      The Youngest Boy:
      M- 9/16

        I do try to switch up the evenings each month. This time it's a Thursday. The next one will be May 31, a Tuesday again. In June we are going to do a daytime session to try to catch some friends in the UK.

              I'm hoping to attend, but I may be late, after I feed my family a late supper.

              2022-2023 Tenth year homeschooling, third year using MP cores

              DD - grade 9; also in AHG and Tae Kwon Do
              DS - grade 5; also in Trail Life and Tae Kwon Do

              Five born to Heaven, between 2009 and 2014; because of them we have a ministry called Naomi's Circle for parents walking the path of pregnancy loss

              DH is a bivocational pastor

              Celebrating 20 years of marriage this year!

                Our next Parents' "Night" In will be June 28 at 12:00 PM Eastern.
                YES! That's right. Middle of the day on East Coast, early morning on West Coast and early evening in the UK. This is so that we can catch our UK friends!
                So that's 9:00 AM PT, 10:00 AM MT, 11:00 AM CT, 12:00 PM ET, AND 5:00 PM London time.
                So, grab your morning coffee, lunch, or dinner depending on your locality and join us!

                      7th year using MP/ 20th year homeschooling (2022-2023)
                      DD 27- married , DS 25 - married working in IT , DD 24- married with 3 littles, DS 22- working in church ministries, DD 20 Nazarene Bible College (getting married 6/23), DD 19 - still figuring it out
                      DS 17 - 12th grade -MPOA, VB, and a mix of MP & other materials
                      DD 14 - 9th grade - 9M core with VB
                      DS 11 - 7th grade (with dyslexia & dysgraphia) -mix of MP with VB
                      DD 9 - 5th grade -5M core with VB

                        Keeping this going!
                        You are invited to another Parents' Night In! These monthly sessions are open to our MP homeschoolers everywhere. We gather online using Microsoft Teams to chat, encourage, share stories, or talk about curriculum. There's no programming, just families connecting from far and wide. Our next PNI is Monday, October 10, at 8:00 PM ET. I try to host a different night each month (and some during the day) to ensure we are offering variety in the schedule.                             Well friends, it's our last PNI for the year 2022! But this one is in the afternoon so that we can catch our overseas friends; 2:00 PM on Saturday 12/3. That's right around the corner! Our sessions are open to all our homeschoolers. It's not complicated; register, receive the link, hop on, and make friends. We don't program, we just fellowship.

                              Happy New Year - well not just yet. But it is time for me to announce the first Parents' Night In for 2023. Again, these online sessions are for fellowship. We don't have a prescribed program or topic, we just spend time together listening, learning, and supporting each other. January's session will be on the 3rd at 8:00 PM ET.
