Praying for your dad, Jen!
I like flashcard games that involve physical exercise. I have my kids run to the edge of the dining room table and pick a sound, word or sum/product. I let my young ones fish with a magnet on a string for flashcards with paper clips stuck on top. A friend of mine separates cumulative stacks of flashcards into stacks of 10 and has her kids run an obstacle course at the playground, come to the table to get through the cards as quickly as possible, and go back to the circuit to repeat. We don't prioritize games, but when we do, we keep it simple.

I’d love that! I just signed up on your blog, but couldn’t find the list of games. Thanks!

We're in quarantine and waiting for updates on my dad (prayers appreciated!!) so I was poking around the forum for distraction....I have two packets of ideas for K-6 on my blog. I'd be happy to PM you the printables without the email sign-up. Just let me know.

a list of games
Hi, I have 4 kids in 2nd, 4th, and 6th and I could really use a resource that lists a bunch of games that help review material (bonus if it would work with different grade kids' material at the same time. We have done spelling bee, jeopardy, memory and go fish and that's it. I searched the forum and saw boom sticks and battleship which I want to try. I also saw many mentions of the SC 5/6 curriculum manual having a big list of games - should I order this CM to get this list or is there a different resource or download with that info?Tags: None
