    Suggested Schedule for 4th grade?

    Hello,

I found the suggested schedule at the front of the 5th grade curriculum manual to be extremely helpful. I do not see one in my 4th grade manual, but perhaps I'm missing it? Does anyone have a layout similar to the suggested 5th schedule where I can see which subjects are taught on which days of the week? I was trying to schedule every subject every sing day, but now I am seeing some subjects are only done a couple of days a week! Is this consistent throughout the year? I am getting a little overwhelmed. We are going into only our second year with MP.

    Hello.

Our schedule for 4th grade will match your 5th grade schedule. All our grammar school teachers do the same thing. Math, Latin, literature, language arts are daily subjects. Each year, we spend 1 - 1 1/2 hours each day on rotating these subjects: classical studies, Christian studies, Modern/Geography, and science. So you would have a block each day in which you would fit in one of these subjects. This way, we immerse our students constantly in all the subjects, but in easy, bite-sized pieces. These subjects can all be completed in around an hour and a half each week.

    I hope this helps!
