Hello - I'm planning my rising second grader's year and am planning to use Little House in the Big Woods, The Courage of Sarah Noble and Prairie School. Is there a recommended order for literature Guides? Thank you so much!

The order of 2nd grade lit is Prairie School, Animal Folk Tales, Courage of Sarah Noble, Little House of the Big Woods, and lastly the Beatrix Potter series.
I suggest you purchase the lesson plans and Teacher Guides for the books because the Lesson plans (which are located within the Curriculum Manual or as just Second Grade Literature lesson plans) outline the order and how long to spend on each. Likewise, the Teacher Guides detail all the phonics works as well as weave in Classical Phonics, which practices reading words with no context.
