Placing my son in MPOA Composition

    Good afternoon!
We have decided to put our son in MPOA next year. He has done Fables and just started Narrative with me at home. This is not my strong point at grading and aiding him in writing so I was looking for some advice. I can put him in the next class in the fall and so summer grammar camp since he is struggling to remember to capitalize proper nouns and little things like that or I can have him do Narrative next year and maybe just go back and redo some Fable for the rest of this year. I don’t want to set him up to fail yet I also want challenge him. Any experience on placement?

We put our son in MPOA Comp after a weak year of Narrative at home - we moved three times that year, and frankly didn't get much of it done. He did Chreia/Maxim and did alright, and he's totally thriving in Ref/Con this year.

If you could get in 4-5 good narrative lessons this year and solidify the 9 narrative components, I think you're good to move on to Chreia/Maxim.
