    FMG in one semester

We did FMR and FMMA over a whole year. We tried to do some American history at the same time, but having two histories going at once didn't work for us. This year, I'm planning American history (using CTP's From Sea to Shining Sea) in the fall and FMG in the spring. I know the Famous Men series can be done in one semster because that's the way MPOA does it. Do any of you have experience taking FMG over one semester on your own? Do you basically double the amount of work each week, or does MPOA leave out some content in order to cover the material in one semester along with Horatius? The lesson plans available for purchase online take FMG over the whole year. Thanks!

    Good afternoon,

MPOA does not cover Horatius, though families can certainly add it in on their own.

I just did Greek Myths that way. By doing 2-3 lessons a week, it can be done.
