  • Scope and Sequence for K-6th

I've seen a PDF for a Scope and Sequence for 7-12. Are there similar scope and sequence PDFs for K-6? Standard and Advanced levels?

    Thanks!

There's one on the website for the moderated track -- complete with rationales/explanations. Go to Shop for Schools under the Shop tab and the link is on one of the header slides.

And the accelerated track is simply a grade ahead for certain subjects like Latin. For example, First Form Latin is scheduled in 5th grade on our standard track and 4th grade on our accelerated track, but the rationale for FFL in the scope and sequence applies regardless of when it's scheduled. Does that help?

Oops. So that would be the larger than life link that reads "Scope and Sequence". HA! I never would have thought to look under that tab though since I'm not looking for a school/start a school. That will help.

Actually, I was wondering if there was a single PDF sheet like this one for the lower grades. Upper School Scope and Sequence.pdf

          Good morning,

We don't have a single PDF for the primary and grammar school years, only for upper school. The one you posted appears to be a few years old, so here's a more recent one: Upper School Scope & Sequence (2018 Conferences).pdf

I just received "The Classical Teacher" Winter 2019 catalog. On Page 34, there is a 3 page folder section that works amazingly for this.

Great idea, MBentley! In case anyone doesn't have a paper copy yet, you can sign up to receive them free here: https://www.memoriapress.com/classical-catalog/

You can also flip through a virtual copy to the scope & sequence spread mentioned.

This actually provided an answer to a question I asked in a different thread about what to call Classical Studies III on a transcript! "Classical Political Philosophy"
