    Who needs a laugh?

On starting Prima Latina with my older two, and not my very young 5 year old:

5 year old: "Where's my 'Watin' book? I don't see my Watin book."
Mama: "We will do this class in a couple of years. Just not this year."
5 year old: "So no Watin book?...::heavy sigh:: "I"m a goner..."

Mama thinking very fast: "It will be here this afternoon. Kids get your shoes and socks on!"

So cute. My 5 yo is obsessed with his sister's Latin. Sometimes he whips out some Latin phrases on us. It's adorable.

      Thanks for sharing.

Absolutely. The positive peer pressure in my house with Latin is nothing short of Amazing.

I have one in 4th Form, 2 in LC, and 2 not old enough for Latin, yet.

My two little people know the Sanctus well enough to recite solo. <3 When I'm reviewing flash cards with the twins, Daniel likes to sit with us. "Ask me next!" One of his brothers will whisper the answer into his ear, and he squeaks, "AMBULO!"

It's so sweet, and sets the stage that Latin is a cornerstone of our home school.

            So cute!

Re: 5 year olds tagging along... My daughter was sitting on the floor working puzzles and lacing cards and whatever else would occupy her when I did First Form Latin with her older siblings. Fast forward 5 or 6 years...she began First Form Latin and I started doing the recitations with her. She looked at me with big eyes, "Why do I already know all of this????" as it just rolled off her tongue. The advantages of tagging along in the "sponge" stage. :-)
