I have a six-year-old, and I am thinking of starting Memoria Press next year when he will be in second grade. Up until this point, we have used “Spell to write and read” for language arts and “Cursive First”. My son doesn’t know printing yet but is very proficient at cursive, and he is a good reader. I guess this is my question: if I start him next year as a second grader, will I need to supplement something else for teaching printing, or is the full curriculum package sufficient?

Re: Printing for student who is second grade but only knows cursive
The goal is to be using cursive for everything by the end of third...you're there already. Don't worry about printing, just let him rock on with his cursive.
You might consider bumping up a level in NAC because he already knows cursive formation.DS14- Simply Classical mash-up of Traditional Spelling 2 and SC 7/8
