FMMA Intro Lessons

I'm preparing to teach 6th graders in our cottage school Famous Men of the Middle Ages. I've just finished doing the three introductory lessons, which took some time. It was enjoyable. Now I am looking at the lessons plans and I see it is not on there. What are other people doing? Is is being skipped unless you happen to have an advanced/fast student? I know we can't do everything, but I'm disappointed.

This book has more lessons than we have weeks, so we don't do the Norse God's. The students often read those chapters anyway because they are fun. But in the grand scheme of things, the Middle Ages history is where we need to spend our time.
