    FF first conjugation perfect tense

    Just to clarify translation:
Culpavit- HSI has blamed..but also HSI blamed
Dedit -HSI has given/ HSI gave

The book states for for recitation, use the helping verbs have and has, but the workbook key lists the latter translations.

We are on L 15 so we've covered this several times since it was taught in L 7, however, my old brain is confused all over again

    Thanks!

Both are correct. Cheryl likes to recite with "have/has," and the Teacher Key will purposefully use both translations so students get used to seeing them. However, it is not wrong if a student uses the other translation. See the Translation Checklist in the very beginning of the Workbook (p. 3).
