Third Form Latin, Lesson 14, Worksheet 6

Hi! In Third Form Latin, Lesson 14, Worksheet 6, question 7 -

I am wondering why long row is translated to longam ordinem? Why do they both have endings in the accusative case?

    Thanks!

Ok-so we think we figured it out. It's because post takes the accusative case, right?

Yes, you're correct! Since post takes the accusative, both "longus" and "ordo" have to be in the accusative case.
