    Populi could be plural, but it would be nominative plural. As a genitive, populi must be singular. The genitive plural would be populorum.

    Hi. We're wondering about the translation of populi. For "Animus, autem, populi...." the key gives "However, the spirit of the people...." Since populi is plural here, would it not be "the spirit of the peoples" ?
