    Notice on New Editions?

    Hi,
    Is there any type of announcements when new editions are available and/or when they start shipping?

    I've noticed that Famous Men of Rome must have just recently released a new edition. As I've purchased FMR in the last few months with the second edition, are there more of those available?

    Hi, Amanda.

    We don't have any more inventory of the second edition FMR books. What exactly are you needing? An additional student book? If you email [email protected] and explain your situation and need to them, they would be glad to see what we can do for you.

      Can you let us know the differences between the 2nd Edition and the 3rd Edition? I have one student doing the 2nd Edition right now. I will have 2 doing FMOR next year. So, I'm trying to decide if I wait and buy two new student books, guides and teacher's guide or go and try and find a 2nd Edition of the text now.

        The text hasn't changed, but we made significant changes to the reviews and tests, which caused some wording to change in the lessons in the guides. We made sure that any question on a test is also on the review or in the drill questions and that all that information is in the lessons in the same wording. Basically, one thing led to another! So when you buy your new student guides next year, they will be 3rd edition and you will need to upgrade to a 3rd edition teacher manual. I'm thinking we discount that for you, but Jessica is off until Friday, so I'm not totally sure. If you want to email [email protected], they can tell you what our procedure is. I just can't keep up any more. I don't feel like I know anything of value any more when I used to know everything! I was basically a one-woman show, and now there are close to 40 people running around up here changing things!

          tanya Hi - I have a student that finally purchased the FMR book from MP just recently. (Her family had purchased a used book that was not helpful but finally purchased directly from MP.) Our small class has the second edition books while she has the third.

          When did the switch happen? Another student recently purchased as well but they have the second edition.

          Does MP notify purchasers or have any announcements online about when updates occur? I appreciate that MP has such great curriculum, but it is challenging sometimes to not be aware of changes.

            Hi, Amanda.

            We don't have a formal announcement when we make an edition change. But hopefully, we get it on the website as soon as the change has happened, and we show which edition we are currently selling. That's our goal. We will be glad to help you with this problem if you send an email to [email protected] and explain what has happened here.

              I am noticing that there is a Second Edition of the Book of Birds. Can you tell me the difference from the 1st Edition? (Again, we have the 1st and the next group of kids going through will do it together, so I need to purchase 1 more, but looks like I might need to buy 2 more...

                The content didn't change, but the page numbers did because we resized it to match our other science books.
