    LC Lesson 8

    In the exercises on p.27, section D, in the student book numbers 3 and 4 read:

    Legatus est.
    Legati sunt.

    In the teacher guide I'm given:

    Legatus orat.
    Legati orant.

    I'm thinking the teacher guide version is correct as none of us amateurs were quite sure to do with what was in the student guide. I mean, we could translate the words, but couldn't make a complete sentence out of them in English.

    Correct, the sentences "legatus est" and "legati sunt," while correct Latin sentences, are difficult to translate for beginners, so we revised them. This only affected a small number of sentences in Latina Christiana, and we posted a list of all changed sentences, along with our reasoning, on our website.
