Third Form Latin, Lesson 6 Drill Form Question

The student is asked to conjugate jacio in the indicative active and indicative passive. The answer key for the indicative active imperfect says: jacebam, jacebas, jacebat, jacebamus, jacebatis, jacebant.

Shouldn't these retain the -i? So, jaciebam, jaciebas, jaciebat, jaciebamus, jaciebatis, jaciebant? Isn't jacio an 3rd conjugation io verb?
