The poem in the textbook is 5 stanzas long, but the guide references material from stanza 7. I looked up the full poem and it it much longer than the one provided! I couldn't figure out why my son was having trouble answering the questions.

I'm confused about the book you are working in. Is it Lingua Angelica? Our book only has 3 stanzas of Gaudeamus Igitur. Or do we have that song in another location I can't come up with off the top of my head?
Tanya
It is in the Poetry, Prose, & Drama (The Old English & Medieval Periods 449-1485) book. The lesson is in assigned in Week 17 in the 8A core, and it is in the student text that the poem is shortened.Tracy

Tracy,
That is a mistake. When we added the Latin, apparently we cut those verses to make room. But we already have a note to add them back, so I am attaching the correct file here for you. I'm sorry about that confusion. It took me a minute to figure out what had happened. But it was a nice walk down memory lane. We looked at Cheryl Lowe's changes, and she wrote in pencil "Add Latin." It was nice to see her marked-up book.
