    Flummoxed by ablative

In Henle Latin I exercise 126, question 2:

Interim imperator centuriones in hiberna vocabit.

    Also, question 6:

    Centurio principes in hiberna vocabit.

Am I mistaken, or is "hiberna" in the ablative singular for both of these sentences? If so, why does the translation in the key read, " . . . into winter quarters"? If the intent was "into," should it not be in the accusative and read "hibernam"?

    Thank you for any assistance!

    I figured it out.

Sorry for the post -- clearly the word "hiberna" is a neuter plural, thus the accusative would also be "hiberna".

    I feel a bit foolish!
