    Traditional Logic II Chapter 5

    There is a note on chapter 5 that students may skip this chapter and save it for the end of the course. Just trying to get an understanding as to the recommendation. Forgive me if an explanation is in the book somewhere - I didn't see one. Thanks!

    No problem at all, and thank you for the question. The rules presented in Chapter 5 are (1) not exhaustive and (2) that students usually do naturally when they are reading average everyday kinds of arguments. The chapter is helpful, but not essential for completing the course or gaining good master of the material.
