    Greek Tragedies DVDs

Do these introduce new insights or are they primarily summaries of what was read?

    Hi, Jennifer.

There is some of both here - summary and commentary. It's similar to what we would do in the classroom. The main difference is that in a classroom, we would read aloud and summarize as we are reading. This isn't possible with DVDs, so this is the best we can do.
