Is Philosophy a subject included in MP?
    by lilamom
Hello! I'm looking ahead with MP and trying to tell if Philosophy is studied as a discreet subject in the upper grades. I"m not seeing it listed, but maybe I'm missing it? If I'm not, where might other parts of the curriculum include some philosophy study? Thanks!

    Finishing first grade math trouble
    by MatushkaAnna
So we are using rod and staff with my first grader, and he's been struggling a lot with subtraction. He's had no end of drill sheets, I believe in drill so I've been giving him a lot to do haha. When it has adding, (up to 10) he does well. He is counting the whole time though I know. He sees 6+3 and...

    Geometry recommendations
    by woolery81
Hello! I'd love some advice for geometry next year. We had planned to use the Jurgensen text (McDougal Littell) that MP used to use, but now I'm starting to consider VideoText. Can anyone give me your experience or recommendations for either of these? Or if you have a different geometry text you love,...

    Considering combining 4th/6th grade subjects
    by CarrieAnne
I’m continually working to streamline my schedule while meeting each child where they are. Prior to this year, my oldest two did Story of the World together, as well as science and States & Capitals last year. They are a solid two school grades apart, though my younger son is more advanced for...

NLE - what levels are offered?
    by KikaMarie
    Hello everyone,

I haven't been around in awhile - I hope all is well!

I am looking at ways to receive accreditation for high school work and I was thinking about the National Latin Exam. However, I know nothing about it - except that it exists. What levels are offered and how...
